Interested in social media? Join our social media team as a Creator. Help us generate ideas for the HISTOYOUTH instagram. From posts to stories, we could use your help! Please note this role is subject to availibility.

We would like to see a sample of your writing! Please respond to the following two questions and refer to submission information below.

1. Why are you interested in joining the HISTOYOUTH team? (250 words MAX)
2. For the second question, please choose one of the following two prompts to respond to:

  • Many former-colonies today continue to face the consequences of their colonial past. Are there any historical instances in which colonialism benefited the colonized as well as the colonizer? (650 words MAX)

  • History is said to repeat itself. Do you agree? Using a specific historical example, make an argument as to what extent history can predict the future. (650 words MAX)
